One of the greatest privileges and responsibilities that we have as a congregation is to nurture the faith of our children. The Bible tells us that throughout the history of the church, children were included in services of worship. We teach our children to participate in and profit from worship. Therefore, children of all ages are welcome at all our worship services. As a help to parents and to provide a space of limited distractions, nurseries are provided during worship services and Sunday classes for infants and toddlers up to three years of age. We also seek to disciple our children in the knowledge and love of Christ through various children's ministries.
Sunday School (9:30am-10:30am): We provide age-appropriate instruction on the basics of the Christian faith, helping children understand and experience God's story of redemption throughout all of Scripture.
Children's Worship Training (During the sermon): We assist and train young children, ages 4 through 1st grade, in the basics of our worship liturgy and the story of God's world.
Wheatland Kid's Bulletin: These are provided as a tool to help children engage with the sermon and to help provide families a point of discussion after the worship service.
