Women's Discipleship

The purpose of Women's Ministry at Wheatland is to encourage and equip all women to glorify God and serve his kingdom by knowing God's Word and applying it to all of life. 


STUDY

The following are opportunities for women to study together at Wheatland:


Morning Bible Study: The morning Bible study meets on Wednesday, from 9:15-11:00am. Contact Beth Slough for more information (baslough@gmail.com).

 

Evening Bible Study: The evening Bible study meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday from 7:00-8:30pm. Contact Erin Quillen for more information (equillen@wheatlandpca.org). 


Weekend Bible Study: The weekend Bible study meets two Saturdays per month from 8:00-9:30am. Contact Catherine Achor for more information (kitkatvt85@gmail.com). 



SHARE

There are many opportunities for women to connect including quarterly events, hiking, book discussions, kid's playdates, and more. See the Life Together section of your Order of Worship each week for upcoming dates and details. 



SUPPORT

The deaconesses at Wheatland work to facilitate mercy ministries of sympathy and service among our members and regular attenders. If you have a mercy-need, or want to get in touch with a deaconess, you can reach out personally or email diaconate@wheatlandpca.org. Additional resources are available and issue-specific support groups run periodically. If you have a support need, please reach out to a member of the Deaconesses, Pastoral Staff, or Women's Discipleship Team.

Men's Discipleship


Monday Bible Study

This study meets every 1st and 3rd Monday at Wheatland at 7:00pm.

Wednesday Bible Study (Online)

This study meets every Thursday on Zoom at 6:30am.

Weekly Discipleship Group

The weekly men's discipleship group meets on Thursdays at 6:30pm in the Fellowship Hall.

Men's retreat registration

The Wheatland Men’s Retreat will be on November 6-8th at Kenbrook Bible Camp in Lebanon, PA. Our theme for the weekend will be “The Mortification of Sin." All men ages 18 and up are encouraged to come. The cost for the retreat is $250.00, which is paid upon registration. If that cost would keep you from joining us, Wheatland will subsidize some of the cost and reduce it to $150.00. If the subsidized cost would keep you from attending, please contact Keith Winder. We do not want cost to keep anyone from attending the retreat. You can register and pay using the link below.
